“Red, White & Blues”: Frosty Fourth of July Treats!

Independence Day is  here so here’s a recipe to help celebrate the Fourth of July!

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup to a cup of plain yogurt
1/2 cup to a cup strawberries (I used frozen)
1/2 cup to a cup blueberries (I used frozen)
THATS IT!
Thaw your berries if you’re using frozen ones.

Puree the berries with a stick blender or blender, or even your fork and some effort will do it if they’re from frozen, because they’re so soft.

F8201BB079A34013A988DAC8E9B4B3A3Layer them into your mold. I used a silicone bone mold, you could even use muffin tins. Fill each slot 1/3 full with strawberry puree. Freeze for an hour. Add yogurt to make it 2/3 full. Freeze for an hour. Scrape off any excess white yogurt from sides so you will be able to see all three layers. Fill to top with blueberries and freeze for at least five hours. You can reverse the strawberries and blueberries for some extra fun times, lol.

Cheers and let’s celebrate!
